User Manual

MINI-ZB1GS is a compact Zigbee 3.0 single-channel neutral-live switch. Designed to fit inside standard switch junction boxes, it supports loads up to 16A, turning your ordinary switches into smart switches. With built-in relay functionality, it enhances Zigbee communication quality with ease. It can also be linked with other devices in smart scenes to bring your home automation to life.

① Button

  • Single press: Turn on/off the smart device.
  • Press and hold for 5 seconds: Device enters the pairing mode. (Zigbee+BLE, Pairing time 3 minutes）
  • Single press, then press and hold for 5 seconds within 3 seconds: Activates Bluetooth pairing mode. (Only effective after the device has been paired with a Zigbee gateway.)
  • Press and hold for 10 seconds: Factory Reset
  • Click three times in succession: Switch external switch type.


② LED Indicator (Blue)

  • Slow flash for 180s: Device is in pairing mode.(Zigbee pairing + Bluetooth pairing)
  • Keeps off: Pairing failure/Timeout.
  • Steady on: Normal connection with the gateway.
  • Fast flash: Abnormal connection with the gateway.
  • Flashes three times quickly: Switch the external switch trigger type.
  • Flashes two short and one long: Bluetooth pairing only.

Installation

1. Power off 

width="100" WARNING:

① Installation and troubleshooting must be performed by a qualified electrician. Do not perform wiring or touch terminals while the device is powered on to avoid electric shock!
② To ensure safe electrical installation, a miniature circuit breaker (MCB) or residual current operated circuit breaker (RCBO) rated at 16A and compliant with national safety standards must be installed ahead of the MINI-ZB1GS.
③ For single-phase use only (100-240V~). Connecting to a multi-phase power supply may damage the device.

width="100"Do not connect the S1 terminal to the neutral or ground wire, as this may damage the device and cause a hazard.
width="100" Ensure the wiring is correct.

width="100" The external switch type supports toggle switches and momentary switches. The default factory setting supports toggle switches.
Switch type switching method: Short-press the button three times until the indicator flashes quickly three times — the switch type has been successfully switched.

3. Power On

After powering on, the device will enter pairing mode by default during first use, and the LED signal indicator will “flash slowly”.

width="100"If no pairing is performed within 3 minutes, the device exits pairing mode. To re-enter pairing mode, press and hold the button for 5 seconds until the LED indicator flashes slowly.

Download the eWeLink App

Please download the “eWeLink” App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

Add SONOFF Zigbee Gateway

Recommended SONOFF gateways: ZBBridge-P, ZBBridge-U, NSPanel Pro, iHost

Additional compatible SONOFF gateways: ZBDongle-P, ZBDongle-E

 

Add Device

Method 1: Enter “Scan”

Enter “Scan”

Scan the QR code on the quick guide or the device

Select “Add Device”.

(If the device exits pairing mode)Long press the button for 5 seconds

Check LED indicator flashing status

(Slow flashing)

Choose Zigbee gateway

Wait until the addition is done

Method 2: Activate Gateway Pairing Mode

Press and hold the button for 5 seconds to confirm the device enters pairing mode

Check that the LED is slowly flashing

Select the gateway on the eWeLink app home page

Find and click “Add Device” in the gateway page

Gateway enters pairing mode, wait for pairing to complete

Method 3: Add via BLE

Enter “Add Device”

Select “Other Methods”

Select “Bluetooth Pairing”.

(If the device has exited pairing mode)
Press the device button once, then press and hold it for 5 seconds within 3 seconds.

Check the LED indicator status (slow flashing)

Tap “Next”

Connect to the device

width="100"When the device is added to a gateway, the eWeLink app provides a more complete feature experience, including remote access, smart scenes, and push notifications.

width="100"Without a gateway, when the device is connected directly to your phone via Bluetooth, the eWeLink app offers basic functions such as device control and settings.

Install the Device in the Mounting Box

Factory Reset

Trigger conditions (any of the following):

  • Delete the device from the eWeLink App.
  • Press and hold the button for 10 seconds.
